NSP Announced July Revenue of NT$1,713 million

Neo Solar Power Corporation (“NSP”, or “the Company”, publicly listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange, Ticker: 3576 TT), a world-class leading producer of high quality solar cells in Hsinchu, Taiwan, today announced August revenue of NT$1,979 million with a MoM rate of 15.51% and set new annual high record for 2015.

The increase of NSP’s August revenue resulted from market demand growth, continuous upswing of Average Selling Price (“ASP”) and revenue contribution from selling some of the solar farms owned by subsidiary, General Energy Solutions Inc. (6466)(“GES”). Benefiting from high season in third quarter, the market demand will continue to grow, which will be helpful for raising ASP and then improve product margin.

Recently, the solar installation target for China is expected to reach 17.8GW in 2015. Obama, President of the United States’ final version of Clean Power Plan also sets achievable standards to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 32% from 2005 levels by 2030. Besides, there are positive government policies, no matter mid-term or Long-term, to boost solar installation in India and other emerging markets. The global solar industry is still with promising future. Based on its strong semiconductor industry experience and vast solar device physics expertise, NSP will continuously devote to technology research and product development. In addition, by expanding solar system project business of NSP group companies, NSP can not only gain a steady profit source but also increasing sales pipelines for NSP’s solar cells and modules to maintain growth momentum.
